California Academy of Sciences

Established in 1853, the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco offers visitors a glimpse into the world of science, natural history and the animal kingdom through several distinct exhibits, including the popular Steinhart Aquarium, the Morrison Planetarium, and the Kimball Natural History Museum, all under one roof. The Academy of Sciences recently moved to a brand new, sustainable building in Golden Gate Park that will open in September 2008.
