The 48th annual Millbrae Art & Wine Festival will be held on Saturday and Sunday, September 1st and 2nd , 2018 in Broadway Avenue, Millbrae, CA during the Labor Day weekend from 10 am to 5 pm.. We can walk to the venue in 2 mins from hotel location.
The Millbrae Art & Wine Festival is one of the biggest Labor day fest in the Bay Area and includes music, dance, top artists and craft makers, premium wine, tasty cuisines, carnival rides and so much more. More than 250 professional artists and craft vendors from all over the western United States exhibit at the festival. With nearly continuous entertainment on the festival’s stages, Millbrae’s downtown is transformed into a wonderful mix of art, food, music and rides. Festival Admission is Free.

Each year the fair honors its community with activities, contests, exhibits and special saving days to ensure all can participate. Community favorites such as the carnival, Kid Land (a hosted carnival for children), games, food, art, livestock, entertainment, music and more continue to attract people from all over the Bay Area. Special events include “The Hoskins Black History Museum, that showcases contributions by Afro Americans to the country. Kids activities include San Mateo County Fair Farm, Ag Adventures Petting Zoo, Brazilian Rain Forest, Chinese Acrobats of Hebei and Gossamer Magic. There is family fun zone too including Tapigami, Super Science, Pig Races and the Drone Zone.
The 100th Bay to Breakers event is just around the corner. This annual event is going to be held on May 15th, which has grown from its humble beginning in 1963 with just 25 runners to over 120,000 attendees! Bay to Breakers is not just for runners, but those who would like to let loose with fun costumes!

Come and see the Chinese New Year Parade on February 19th. The parade will be held in Chinatown from 5:30 pm till 8:00 pm. Besides the parade, there will be festivities throughout the day and the weekend.
The Home and Patio show is on during February 11th – 13th. The event will be held at the San Mateo Event Center and the admission is free!
